Join the deck crew of a deep-sea vessel as an Able Seaman. You keep watch, handle mooring and cargo operations and keep the deck in top condition, working as part of a tight crew on a clear rotation. A crewing desk handles your documents, travel and crew changes.
Job description
What the role involves:
- Helmsman and lookout duties on navigational watch.
- Mooring, anchoring and cargo-watch operations.
- Deck maintenance — chipping, painting, greasing and general upkeep.
- Supporting safety drills and equipment checks.
Requirements
- Valid STCW II/5 Able Seafarer Deck certification.
- Previous sea time as AB or Ordinary Seaman.
- Valid medical and STCW basic safety training.
- Good working English.
