Take the controls of one of aviation’s most iconic aircraft – the Boeing 777 – and join a world-class operation. Confair Group, on behalf of Air Atlanta Icelandic, is seeking Non-Type Rated First Officers to step into this exciting role. This is a unique opportunity to fly long-haul routes for a renowned ACMI operator with a truly global reach.
Job description
- Operate the Boeing 777 as First Officer on international routes, ensuring safe and efficient flight operations.
- Collaborate closely with the Captain and crew to deliver outstanding operational performance.
- Comply with all applicable aviation regulations, company procedures, and safety protocols.
- Participate in pre-flight planning, including weather analysis, route planning, and aircraft performance calculations.
- Monitor in-flight systems and make decisions to optimise safety and efficiency.
- Support operational requirements during layovers and base activities.
- Maintain high professional standards and represent the airline in all interactions with passengers, crew, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Valid EASA Part-FCL ATPL with current ME/IR.
- Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
- Minimum of 1000 hours on multi-crew CS25 certified aircraft, OR minimum of 500 hours on a heavy jet.
- Valid EU or UK passport.
Nice-to-have:
- Recent flight experience within the preceding 6 months.
- Experience on widebody long-haul operations.
- Additional language skills for international operations.
- Familiarity with ACMI or charter operations.

In case of NTR candidates being accepted by Air Atlanta, a type rating will be arranged by the company.
Travel and hotel will be arranged by Air Atlanta Icelandic for the full course (travel to ground course, hotel during ground course, travel to sim training, hotel during sim training, travel to base). The TRTO takes approximately 2 months, depending on the planning. It is carried out by Air Atlanta. The CBT home program starts 10 days before the official OCC date.
For the complete CBT + TRTO + SIM training, a fixed training allowance applies. The normal Fee and Per Diem applies from the start of LIFUS.
