Join the ranks of aviation professionals flying the iconic Boeing 747-400 — the "Queen of the Skies." Confair Group, on behalf of Air Atlanta Icelandic, is seeking experienced type-rated First Officers to operate across multiple international bases. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading ACMI provider and gain exposure to diverse global routes and operations.

Base of Operation: Several international bases (nearest international airport)

Job description

  • Operate the Boeing 747-400 in accordance with company and international aviation standards.
  • Perform pre-flight and post-flight duties including aircraft inspections, documentation, and briefings.
  • Collaborate with the Captain and crew to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations.
  • Adhere to all EASA regulations and company operational procedures.
  • Participate in recurrent training and checks to maintain qualifications and proficiency.
  • Support operational planning, including route analysis, fuel calculations, and weather assessments.
  • Represent the airline professionally with passengers, crew, and stakeholders.

Requirements

Must-have:

  • Valid EASA Part-FCL ATPL
  • Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Valid EASA B747-400 Type Rating
  • ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher
  • Minimum of 500 hours on multi-crew aircraft
  • Last flight preferably within the preceding 6 months
  • Valid EU or UK passport

Nice-to-have:

  • Additional type ratings on wide-body aircraft
  • Experience with ACMI operations
  • Proficiency in additional languages
  • Familiarity with international long-haul flight operations
  • Strong cross-cultural communication skills

  • Full training program including CBT, OCC, and SIM with fixed training allowance

Recruitment Team

Travel and hotel will be arranged by Air Atlanta Icelandic for the full course (travel to ground course, hotel during ground course, travel to sim training, hotel during sim training, travel to base). OCC takes approximately 6 weeks, depending on the planning. It is carried out by Air Atlanta. The CBT home program starts 10 days before the official OCC date.

For the complete CBT + OCC + SIM training, a fixed training allowance applies. The normal Fee and Per Diem applies from the start of LIFUS.
