Job description
- Operate the Boeing 777 in accordance with company procedures, aviation regulations, and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the Captain and other crew members to ensure safe, efficient, and timely flights.
- Conduct pre-flight planning, including reviewing weather conditions, flight plans, and operational notices.
- Perform aircraft inspections and systems checks prior to departure.
- Communicate effectively with air traffic control and ground operations throughout the flight.
- Manage in-flight operations, including monitoring aircraft systems and responding to any abnormalities.
- Ensure compliance with all EASA and ICAO operational requirements.
- Participate in recurrent training and simulator checks to maintain proficiency and certification.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Valid EASA Part FCL ATPL
- Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Current EASA Boeing 777 type rating
- ICAO English Language proficiency level 5 or higher
- Minimum of 500 hours on Multi-Crew Aircraft
- Last flight preferably within the preceding 6 months
- Valid EU or UK passport
Nice-to-have:
- Experience on international long-haul operations
- Additional type ratings on wide-body aircraft
- Proficiency in additional languages
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Familiarity with ACMI operations

Travel and hotel will be arranged by Air Atlanta Icelandic for the full course (travel to ground course, hotel during ground course, travel to sim training, hotel during sim training, travel to base). OCC takes approximately 6 weeks, depending on the planning. It is carried out by Air Atlanta. The CBT home program starts 10 days before the official OCC date.
For the complete CBT + OCC + SIM training, a fixed training allowance applies. The normal Fee and Per Diem applies from the start of LIFUS.
